Shannon & Victoria Bosdell

 

Shannon Bosdell has close to 20 years of ownership within the long term care industry. Retiring from owning homes in Palmer and Wasilla  he moved to Wrangell for the quiet life. Seeing the need on our beautiful island for more options for seniors he decided to come out of retirement to provide care for those in our community. He wanted to provide a home where someone could age in place, in a lodge type setting with the active senior in mind.

Victoria Bosdell has worked hand in hand with Shannon working within the industry for many years providing care for elders. We live in Harbor House with our two sons Hawkeye  4 and Oceanus 1. We have three other kids that are off in the world. Victoria divides her time between the residents and the children making sure everyone is well cared for and happy. 

We are a full service senior living center where everything is included. Three meals a day cooked in our restaurant style dinning hall, comfortable rooms each with its own private bathroom, weekly house cleaning and laundry service, 24 hour security with a professional live in staff.

Daniel & Niki Blake

Daniel hails from Fostoria, Ohio. After graduating high school he enlisted in the United States military. Receiving an honorable discharge 13 years later Daniel began a career in law enforcement in Tennessee. He retired after having achieved the rank of Chief of Police. Upon retirement from law enforcement he opened Aegis Security, LLC. Starting the business from scratch he was able to take it from a fledgling upstart to a profitable business with no debt within three years. He then sold the business for a profit and began his move here to Alaska. Daniel brings a good business background to Harbor House, in addition he has spent approximately 11 years caring for a child who was totally disabled. This included serving as a care giver, making medical decisions for her and providing for her daily needs.

Niki is originally from Oklahoma, but resided in Tennessee for many years. Her back ground is in health and fitness. She has been certified to teach adult exercise classes, classes for seniors and water aerobics. Niki is a caring compassionate person who always puts the needs of our seniors first and foremost.
